L-3 Klein is a full life-cycle, turn-key solution provider for the US Government and Commercial sectors. As the sole United States distributor and service provider of all Raytheon Anschutz High Seas equipment, L-3 Klein is able to supply the Government with the best possible technical solutions and direct support for all Navigation systems. L-3 Klein services include shipboard system design and integration, development of installation drawings, turn-key equipment repair and system installations, commissioning verifications, system acceptance testing including sea trials, configuration management, standardization of preventive maintenance requirements and oprator training. L-3 Klein works with specialized companies and has been providing Command, Control, Communication, Computer Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) product and normal service and repair support to the U.S. Government.
Similar work is performed for the commercial market by L-3 Klein, L-3 GA International and our extensive dealer network. The work is performed by factory trained and certified technicians located in all major shipping ports worldwide. Commercial cruise line service work is performed by L-3 GA International.
L-3 Klein maintains a 24 hour/7 day a week “Hot Line” which is available to all L-3 customers and those in need of technical advice or immediate repair actions. Under this program, the L-3 Klein rsponder to the call determines the level of support required, warranty or non-warranty, and can either schedule an emergency repair, a normal service call or place them in touch with the correct technical representative. L-3 Klein’s policies and practices place a high priority on Customer Satisfaction.
L-3 Klein Service Technicians are Federal Communications Commission (FCC) certified, trained and certified on Raytheon product and Integrated Bridge Systems (IBS), licensed maintainers of Global Maritime Distress Safety Systems (GMDSS) and are trained on all C4I Communications, Electronics, Navigation (CEN) components. In addition a number of our certified technicians complete annual US Army, CONUS Replacement Center (CRC) training, which allows us to provide service for vessels in hazardous or war zone ports. Annual L-3 Environmental, Health and Safety training is completed by each employee.
L-3 Klein uses the services of our Service Technicians to install, test, repair and commission our HarborGuard Waterside Security and Surveillance Systems. Our Service Technicians travel the world installing and commissioning systems for L-3 Klein under the most arduous situations. In these cases, full Personal Protection Plans are developed and understood by each individual. L-3 Klein places a high priority on the well being of our employees, especially when performing difficult services in difficult areas.
