This is an image taken with the System 2000 of a large truck tire standing on end in the harbor silt. The tire was used as a bumper on a barge and was knocked off. Notice that good data was received right through the center of the tire. The sonar operating range was 50 meters. The sonar operating frequency was 500 kHz.
