The Digital Repeater Compass can be read easily from different viewing angles at a distance of up to 10 meters. The unit decodes the serial transmission signal of the gyro compass into digital heading information.
Luminous Digital Display:
The gyro heading is shown in degree and decimal degrees. The decimal digit is made smaller to prevent erroneous reading.
Tendency Indicator for course changes:
The tendency indicator is a ring of solid state lamps (LED's) of which 2 LEDs are lit at he same time. When the ship turns, the LED-indicator rotates, dependent on the direction and analogue to the rate-of-turn, toward starboard in green (increasing heading value) and toward port in red (decreasing value).
