Multifunction Dispaly for Navigation and Ship Operations Data
The Anschütz MINS is a highly accurate inertial navigator for use as main or stand-by system on board of all kinds of naval vessels such as frigates, corvettes, missile fast patrol boats, offshore patrol vessels and submarines.
The MINS is based on modern, state-of-the-art ringlaser strap-down technology, featuring the well-proven ringlaser gyros GG 1342. The MINS has flexible interfaces to the log and/or GPS-receiver and supplies mainly the following own ship's data:
- heading-, roll-, pitch angles
- heading-, roll-, pitch-angular rates
- velocity Vx, Vy, Vz
- position
Outstanding features of MINS are:
- high reliability due to ringlaser strap-down technology
- low lifecycle costs
- high speed RS 422-output
- coarse/fine synchro outputs
- short settling times (less than 10 minutes at pier, less than 20 minutes at see)
- easy to operate and maintain (BITE)
- free inertial mode
- high accuracies
The Anschütz's MINS has been selected over its competition by the Dutch, German and Spanish navies, because of its high reliability, accuracy and exceptional performance characteristics.
