STEERING REPEATER COMPASS

The combined analog/digital steering repeater compass as standardized module for simple installation in bridge desks, steering stands or casings.
The repeater compass is characterized by a large full-view card, 150mm in diameter. The 1/10 degree card permits precise course readings. A digital multifunction display inducates heading information and compass operating data as desired, as well as compass error messages. The illumination is concentrated on the lubber line area and can be dimmed with push-buttons. An adjustable antiglare screen is included in the scope of delivery.

The digital course transmission system via Raytheon Marine course bus provide absolute course information, so the repeater compass synchronization is no longer necessary.

The equipment can be used as desired either as a repeater compass with the possibility to call up all the test data of the master compass, or purely as a repeater inducator, or as a repeater compass with a heading inducator which is turned by 180 degrees for use on double-end ferries.
